Presentation at the APSR meeting in Yokohama

On November 12, 2013, Dr. Peter Th. Wolff presented the VAVANY- study at the 18th meeting of the Asian-Pacific Society of Respirology (APSR) in Yokohama, Japan. In his talk he stated the connection between Asia and Madagascar to the close ethnicity as obvious by the same langauge stem, the Austronesian language.

Publication concerning reference values now online

The second publication of the VAVANY-study is now avaiable online. This study with the title “Spirometric reference values in urban children in Madagascar: Poverty is a risk factor for low lung function” presents the reference values for Malagasy schoolchildren.

Our second publication cocerning the lung function data is now accepted:

We expect to find our work in the “PEDIATRIC PULMONOLOGY” in spring 2013
